It has been many months in the planning and with a few major hiccups we are on our way to the other side of the world again.

Pamukkale Hierapolis Ancient City

Michael bathing his feet in the warm water.
Hierapolis was a city built by a king for his wife, Hiera so that she could take advantage of the thermal pools which were supposed to bring good health.  People still come from all over to bathe in the special water that flows down from the mountains.  The view from the top is spectacular.

We could even bath in the 40degree water at the indoor pool at our hotel or fill the bath in our room from the thermal spring.  It was almost unbearably hot.
